Vali Dust (Click here for Past Performances)
Vali Dust is a 14 year old dark bay gelding that had a most undistinquished career as a racehorse. He had five races in which it was remarked: "
off poorly, outrun", "eased, walked off", "failed to rally", "saved ground to no avail." Although these attributes are not desired in a racehorse they
likely kept him physically sound which he is to this day.
After his racing career ended Vali was trained as an eventer and sold for 25K to a young trainer who was sponsored.
However, something went awry. Vali and the trainer did not hit it off. The trainer became afraid of Vali and Vali afraid of the trainer.
He was then sent him to a sales barn to be sold where he just sat idle; barely being ridden.
Fortunately for the past 10 months Vali has been trained by top equestrian trainer Aaron Wilson. Unfortunately, Vali Dust was quite damaged mentally
when he first came into Aaron's care. He wouldn't cross tie, was spooky and extremely defensive under saddle.
After carefully re-schooling, he is now functioning like a normal horse. He is going quietly over small jumps
and has good flatwork and basic dressage (1st level).
The ideal home for Vali would be a sensitive rider or trainer looking for a horse they can school and eventually show.
He would not be good in a single horse situation as he loves a buddy. He is also not a trail horse and prefers to work in the arena.
Vali can be adopted or leased. Please contact Cynthia Wilson at wilcyndressage@gmail.com for further details or to find out more about equestrain trainer

We are happy to report that Vali has been adopted in the Southern California area.
