Sea Going Girl (Click here for Past Performances)
Sea Going Girl is a an 18 year old chestnut mare that is the spitting image of her famous grandfather, Secretariat, right down to the white blaze and
three white socks.
Sea Going Girl (Scarlett) had been at Harris Farms for some years although her career as a racehorse and broodmare were both short lived. Scarlett tore her
uterous delivering her first foal and could never conceive again. Her owner is now deceased and the trustee of the estate no longer wished to pay her board so at
her age she became an at risk horse. Luckily our friends Dale & Linda stepped in and added Scarlett to their herd although they had already promised to
adopt Slewpy's Charm (a granddaughter of Seattle Slew). Scarlett joins the ladies Slewpy, Cubanita (Cubi), Land Between (Landon) and Stevie at the beautiful farm
in Jamul pictured.
