King Wonderful (Click here for Past Performances)

King Wonderful is a 10 year old (born 1999) dark brown gelding that has had a career as a race horse and later transitioned to dressage. He is well trained under saddle and is sound. The young girl that adopted him off track and then placed King in training as a hunter-jumper could no longer keep him and thus returned him to Delta Breeze Farm and back into the care of Brenda Dawe who had had him since he was a two year old racing at Golden Gate Fields.

King had quite a distinquished career and earned over 80k in 27 starts. He loved being at the lead and could have no one in front of him. As long as there were no fast closers he could fly home first, as he did 5 times. He also get caught at the wire in second 6 times and was third 4 times. All in all, King was on the board 15 times of his 27 starts!
